Has the Lever experiment taught you nothing, though? It's not the personnel doing the good work when it comes to Adelaide interceptors, its the system. You can't just expect to PNP their third tall backman and get results any more than you could bring in one of Richmonds small forwards and expect that pressure to be replicated.

Did you hear part of Essendons defence when putting forth what they believed was an appropriate punishment (after he plead guilty), was that he should be fined & given a strike - because biting is the same as pinching & that's the punishment for pinching.

A system that would be compatible with ourselves. We’ve played an intercept style defence for over a decade. Taylor, Hendo, Harley, Enright were all adept at intercept marking. We’re currently playing Henry in that role.
