The bold bit is a racist comment it lumps everyone not indigenous in the same boat.

WE don't want that at all. But we want our footy players to tackle responsibly, not dive for frees and so slide in studs first. When they do these things we want tom not to do, they get booed.

I am in part indigenous Australian, my wife is a Mekeo woman from PNG, my kids are not white, and I want them to shine as bright as the brightest light they can be. SO do all their teachers, lecturers and everyone else who knows them. But then they don't slide in studs first, dive for frees and try to break people's legs/necks in tackles. So maybe that's the cause.

What Goodes said about the settlement of this country (although somewhat divisive) is absolutely his entitlement, attempting to injure people on the footy field is not.

It means your argument that Goodes admission that it affected him greatly escalated an otherwise minor booing is not congruent with the facts. I can point to racist arguments to justify the booing. But no one is going to own them or use them again now. Now is all about justifying being an arshole by pretending Goodes was a monster that killed babies and ate the heads of puppies. Oh he was a sniper. Oh he was diver. Oh he got favourable treatment by the umpires/mrp. Joel Selwood is statistically the most favoured player in history by the umpire. Always has a go at players. Has been let off numerous times by the mrp for incidents that look blatantly suspendable. Has never and will never get booed like Goodes did. It started in may and stopped when he retired. And years later people still can’t move on. It’s not facts that lead to booing. It’s psycology. It’s ugly human psycology. It’s time for people to own their actions instead blaming Adam Goodes.

I guess the theory is there will be a greater area for teams to defend, which would therefore open up the play. I think really they are just desperate to try and get rid of the rugby mauls that happen inside the 50’s. Expect Sicily to take the majority of our kick outs if introduced....

I’m all against people behaving like a$$holes, particularly at the football. A$$hole isn’t racist.

And there isn’t a call in general for better behaviour. In fact feral booing is encouraged to this day. Just not against Goodes as the enlightened betters got out their racism divining rods and have determined that in that case, and that case only, those dirty racists blossomed in their hatred.

And you so righteously condemn tens of thousands of good people, aside from the classless booing, by looking into their hearts and projecting onto them the racist arguments you can muster up.
