These are some of their main ball winners/better users of the footy.

Shiel’s a lot of things, but the view that he’s a good user of the football is a myth. Went to school with him, and he could never kick. Not in under 18s, not at GWS and not at Essendon.

Not to say he isn’t cutting us to ribbons out of the middle, which he is.

The ladder accurately reflects where these teams are at. Both can attack and look good in patches but defensively they are pathetic basket cases. No wonder Cats put 80 points on the dees last week. If their defensive organisation and effort continues in this vein neither side will go close to finals IMO
