Very hard to argue with that team. Pretty much spot on. The only one stiff is Charlie Cameron but that is all.

Massive shame Buddy's body keeps failing him this year as I think he is kicking the most goals per game out of any key forward in the AFL in 2019, but can't get on the park long enough to in contention for the Coleman.
How many years left in his contract?

Treloar is the definition of empty stats these days.

Much like De Goey and Papley, I reckon Cameron is too hot and cold to be treated as a serious AA candidate at this point. 2019 is probably the worst year we've seen for individual forwards in our lifetimes, so that any genuine forward beyond Cameron, Hawkins, Walters and Ablett (who most years probably wouldn't get in either) would be very undeserving in my eyes, given that they would probably take the place of a Shuey or a Bontempelli who have consistently blown games apart across the ground.

Blicavs is full back of the year??
Andrews CHB of the year??

I've seen quite a few Dogs and Eagles games this year, I'd have Daniel ahead of Sheppard, and I'm a Sheppard fan.

Macrae ahead of JKelly and Treloar IMO.

He's played 3 more games than Kelly, and uses it better than Treloar. Also has more goal assists than both combined, even in a lower scoring team. He only has 3 goals though, which has always been his major flaw as a star midfielder. But I think if you combine goals and goal assists into one number, that works pretty well for comparisons sake. Or you could weight GAs to be 0.75 goals.

Too many good mids, not enough good forwards

Yep that's the issue. Not enough good forwards. With about 15 star midfielders fighting it out for just 8 spots(assuming one gets a HFF spot), not sure why you're gifting one to whitfield with only 9 games played.

As for sorting out the mids, you've just got to have a balance of clearance winners and goal kickers/assisters. I tend to favour the latter, which is why I'd have both Tkelly and Dangerfield in the side. It's so close though, I don't think any are locks.

Chuck Treloar for Cunners and about right.

Treloar is the definition of empty stats these days.

He's in my dreamteam. On Saturday night there was a passage of play where he kicked the ball twice to pretty much nowhere, real under 13s stuff. But got me ten or so points for no actual onfield benefit. He ended with 120+ points in a team that was roundly belted, and had no impact on the game.

They weren't the kind of hack kicks out of congestion that often land with the opposition that say Jack Ziebell specialises in.

Treloar had more time and space than that, and still muffed the kicks.

He's really not damaging enough to justify his reputation and what Collingwood paid for him.

Not having an AA year.

Interesting that Crows players aren't really getting mentioned, when they're 6th. Who would be leading their B&F? Sloane?
Its the same every year. Ive given up with pushing their cases. But this year B Crouch, Sloane and Keath would be leading our awards. Keath is actuiall second in the AFL for intercept possessions and 4th for intercept marks.
