"everyone wins".I’m not sure what’s hard to grasp about this concept.
Sometimes two people want to spend their future together so they make decisions that will be mutually beneficial to their partnership. Hill’s options aren’t play for Fremantle or never earn a cent for the rest of his life. He could just go get paid by a Victorian club, she’d be happier, in turn he’d probably be happier, everyone wins.
I don’t understand this angle of “if you’re unhappy in the scenario you’re in that’s too bad, because your partner is well paid.”
"everyone wins".
Hard to see how Freo wins.

Nup, lost me.I wonder who gets paid more...……….
Live off her wage then.
Who were the other players that RTB delisted in the media before telling them? Their names escape me.
Barlow?
"I think it's pretty obvious they're going to exit," Lyon said.
"We did it (farewell game) with Matthew Pavlich, and they've been incredibly good servants for the club.
“It is something we will get to.”
"As a caring football club, that should be on our agenda."
”I’m not here to talk about people’s futures. It’s not really how we should operate. Clearly there was a discussion about veterans last week. That was fine. There were some sensational headlines to come out of that, but that’s OK,” Lyon said.
That’s a shot over the bow, what was written and said. I’m not prepared to discuss anyone’s future in media conferences, or with the media. Because it’s not my role. I’m just going to coach.”
I'll never complain about losing streaks again.
Looks like the last time they played at the MCG was 2004. There was this golden period where they played a few times at the MCG in the 1990s between Essendon being a Windy Hill tenant and Essendon being a Docklands tenant.
Since that 1923 games Sydney have lost to Essendon at the MCG 9 times.

I figured that would be the case.
Don't bring your fancy numbers and research into this.
FTFYHey it's still 76 years longer than our streak at the SCG![]()

Did Josh Carr end up back at Port? He certainly moved back to Adelaide and coached at Port I think?Fremantle seems to have a lot of these 'boomerang' players...... Hill, Tarrant, Mcphee, Croad.
It's bizarre, Mcphee especially so - he went back.![]()
He announced that Robert Eddy, Steven Baker, Michael Gardiner and Andrew McQualter had all retired. This was news to Baker and Eddy who never gave any indication they were retiring.
