Not to go off on too much of a tangent, but in the AFL era, how many father/son combos have each won a premiership for the same club? Purely for trivia purposes.
David & Travis Cloke, John Kennedy Jr and Josh were the only ones I could find from the list of players who went to their fathers' clubs under the F/S rule (assuming the father doesn't have to be AFL era, only the son). Interesting that neither of the sons won flags for the same club as their father. There are plenty of sons who won flags but with premiershipless fathers.

Cheers, that was what I've been finding too. Would be pretty special.

Our Father son prospects for 2021.

North Melbourne might have a busy year on the father-son front. Jackson Archer, the son of club great and current director Glenn, has emerged as a draft chance this year. Archer, who will play for the Northern Knights in the NAB League, is – unsurprisingly – a medium defender with a hard edge.

The Roos will also have first call on Darby Scott, the son of 1996 premiership player Robert and brother of current Roo Bailey. Geelong, too, has access to Scott as a father-son. The son of former Roos forward Nathan Thompson, Bendigo Pioneers prospect Louis, only qualifies for Hawthorn as a father-son after Nathan played 119 games for the Hawks and 60 for North Melbourne.

Looks like it based on the images on his timeline. G.Arch is listed at 182cm. Jacko looks like he's about 188-190?

Reason I asked is that I'd had third hand reports that he was a bit on the small side for his age group. Mind you that was dating back to 2018 or so.

The report was also that he had a bit of his old man's campaigner in him, even at a tender age.

How good is Darby Scott ? what pick would he likely go at ?

Really hard to get a gauge on them considering there was no junior footy played last year.

We'll have a good idea after the first 10 weeks of the season I'd imagine.

Both he and Archer, look as though they will be later picks (+40) but that's all dependent as to how they progress this year.

Not a bad result, means we should be able to get our first three picks prior to a bid.

There's no point in putting any expectations on them until well over the half way mark of the year.

Oh Tef.

By May, Jackson will either be the saviour of the club or a piece of dogshit not even worthy of a rookie pick.

The kids undercarriage looks like it needs some work. He might take a while to develop.

He might have another growth spurt again and approach KPP height.

Would be good to see that level of the ground. One of those pics that makes him look about 195 but he may well be circa 184.

I reckon he'll clear 188 mate.
