Good things coming from the pre-season to date, including tonight so far.

Bock - really looking the part at CHF

Griffin - performed okay against Cox that quarter, carrying on his startling progress from SANFL B grade to AFL this year.

Douglas - every bit as good as I thought he would be when we recruited him. Quality mid-fielder in the making

van Berlo - relatively quiet in the pre-season before tonight but has stepped up to the plate and showed his class against quality opposition in West Coast.

Knights the ball magnet - a bit quieter tonight and one wonders just how much time he has actually spent on the ground. In the top 10 in the AFL last year for least minutes per disposal last year and has brought his own footy in the first two games.

Reilly - definitely stepped up a cog this year in all 3 pre-season games and having a good one again tonight.

Good signs, ladies and gentlemen, good signs.
