Year 1 - 13 games best 1st year player
Year 2 - Fair effort to finish second in his second year,
Year 3/4 - Wood/Bont wins
Year 5 - 3rd behind Bont and JJ ( most supporters on BF surprised)
Year 6 - Second 1 vote behind Hunter in a year he missed 3 games to injury. You’ve dismissed that but in our system of voting every player gets 5 coaches scores between 0-5 for a max of 25. You’d think despite your bias, he’d get 2 points playing one more game!

Year 8 - loses out to another AA IN Caleb Daniel in a shortened season

How you think he’s overrated on that form plus last 3 years All Australian says more about you than him. Have your opinion as is your right but facts don’t support.

Great footballer, overrated by people who play Supercoach religiously and undervalued by people who hate people who judge football on Supercoach. He's the second best player in one of the best two teams in the comp and would be top 15 player in the comp. I don't think he's a future HOF but he would make every team in the comp better

Probably half a chance at a HOF, especially if he remains injury free. The way he's tracking, he could wind up in the top few disposal getters in the game's history. Fastest player of all time to reach 5000 disposals. Would probably have to play 320 odd games to get the reach the record (pure guess without statistical measuring). But if that eventuates, and provided we win next week, he could end up as a two-time premiership player with several AAs plus disposal records. Might not be a game-changer, but probably the most reliable player in the comp by a stretch.

You don’t have to kick long bombs from 60, be a contested marking beast or have a burst of pace and a fend off to be a great footballer.

Only primary school children and TV dinner dribblers measure greatness by such measures.

Jack isn’t going to be a top 100 player of all time, but we don’t care. He’s the best player in our team right now & has been since Bont suffered a form slump during the year.

He wins footy matches, he’s never beaten, the 4th quarter beast.

If you are the second best midfielder in one of the better midfields in the league, you'll never win a best and fairest.

I think his start and end of the season (including finals) has been better than Bontempelli, but Bont shone in the middle up until he hurt his shoulder against WCE in Perth.
Both Macrae and Libba were red hot at the start of the year, so he'll lose some votes to Libba there as well

Reckon Dunkley was our best mid until he did his shoulder. Be nice if he could find that form again next Saturday.
