Gippsland too good, score could have been more Too many turnovers up the field, Billy King needs to take a moment and look before he flings boot to ball, cost us about 4 goals due to turnovers. Not that he wasn't the only one. Overall our entries into forward 50 were poor and Gippsland defence way too good, just gobbled it up before sending it back down field.

Ball use not great.

Agreed. Our ball use was awful. Score would have been worse but for our defenders working overtime down back.

Gippsland has more composure around the ball and it showed in their ball movement up and down the field.

I think the way the AFL do things now is better in terms of getting the allies team right. I wonder how many Sydney Academy players will make the squad. It sounds like Kirk and Cleary are certainties.
