I have a feeling I'm going to be very active on Twitter reminding all the journos that they said nothing when Lynch went to the reigning premiers, nor did they have an issue when Rankine was heading to Essendon...From here the AFL media engine will crank into overdrive suggesting we should pay massive overs for him and that it sucks for the poor Gold Coast and never should have happened
Meanwhile Victorian clubs pillage Gold Coast and GWS and that's all fair because they're "coming home"
He must have deleted it
JHF know we highly rate him given what we offered North last year so it was a very smart strategy by us laying the ground work and now he know we aren't afraid to throw big contract anymore as well. The club is going to offer JHF a monster offer as well. We are into him like a fat kid on ice cream.
JHF has no issue with the club at all.

So do we.I suppose bearded clan and I are just keays haters. No, we just know garbage when wee see it.
Because we know McHenry is going to squeeE in there somehowCan we just take a moment to reflect on how exciting our round 1 FWD line will potentially look next year.
McAdam Walker Rankine
Rachele Fogarty Thilthorpe
I'm certainly buying that ticket!
Because that's how the gold coast camp said it. The AFL article specifically mentions the crows though. Why does thread say requests trade to south Australia, when he specifically asks for a trade to the Crows?
Because the Suns got salty in their press release and only mentioned South Australia, not the crows. Why does thread say requests trade to south Australia, when he specifically asks for a trade to the Crows?
GWS had no cap space, it's why they shed players every off season. Norf was in disarray but different this year with Clarko driving the club. Dodoro would be licking his lips.Everyone says that, but surely GWS or North would have picked Dawson in the PSD? Especially North. Why is it so different this year?
Sour grapes probablyWhy does thread say requests trade to south Australia, when he specifically asks for a trade to the Crows?

Jesus, does it have to be brought up in everythingBecause that's how the Gold Coast camp said it. The AFL article specifically mentions the crows though.
He would be one of those players that would make me eat my wordsRowe will love playing in your forward line.
There will be several pretty decent mids still on the table at our 2nd pick (if we still have it) Kobe Ryan, Coby Burgeil, possibly Adam D'Alioa, Nick Saddler, Hugh Bond etc or players like Lachlan Cowan and Henry Hustwaite for example that look very good possibilities to transition inti full time mids down the track. And there's the potential downside to this great news - the priority for the Crows is, without question, an elite(or potentially elite) midfielder, so without Pick 5 I will be fascinated to see what rabbit is pulled out of somewhere to obtain the right fit. If we go with the same group in 2023 we will not progress at all.
Gold Coast trying to pull the same shit Sydney attempted last year of “we’ll just trade him to Port if you don’t play ball” when they know full well that isn’t an option. Why does thread say requests trade to south Australia, when he specifically asks for a trade to the Crows?
Posturing. Why does thread say requests trade to south Australia, when he specifically asks for a trade to the Crows?
None of which matters in the scheme of things....It's what North are prepared to accept for their CONTRACTED player and in that regard Powa have the upperhand IMO.The club is going to offer JHF a monster offer as well. We are into him like a fat kid on ice cream.

Honestly, I probably rate him more than a lot of people here, he's just not the type of forward that fits in with what Nicks wants at all. You could do worse than giving him a 1 year try out, he's crafty around goals and he will fit in a lot better with you than with us I reckon. He would be one of those players that would make me eat my words
There's also the issue that GWS finished well above us last year so we would have got Dawson well before he fell through to them in the PSDGWS had no cap space, it's why they shed players every off season. Norf was in disarray but different this year with Clarko driving the club. Dodoro would be licking his lips.
