by who? he doesnt get tagged, he has a run with player because he is too big to get tagged.
Now answer my question, do you consider him a match winner?
He does get tagged. Even in a different reality where it was just run with roles - you only do that if the player is damaging. No coach is making one or more of their own players "run-with" another unless he is damaging enough to impact the result significantly.

And yes Cripps is a matchwinner. Using his career win % when he joined a team at the bottom as evidence of the opposite is bizarre.

I actually like Cripps, he’s a good player, and seems an even better bloke.

But it wasn’t the best season of all time or anywhere near it.

The Brownlow is just an embarrassment. I’d hate to attend if I wasn’t the teams best midfielder. They don’t even like you getting pissed anymore there to pass the time of receiving no votes.

24 3 vote games in the last 3 years for Crippa

Only 17 for GOATcos
'Only' 17 3 vote games in the first 3 years of Daicos' career....

Number of 3 vote games in Cripps' first three seasons - 4.

Number of years it took Cripps to get 17 x 3 vote games - 9.

I wonder if anyone else in the history of the game has received more than 17 x 3 votes in their first three seasons?

Judd, for example, received 8 x 3 votes in his first three seasons.

Remember, you brought it up...

Nobody cares what Nicky did in his first week as a newborn or what he did when he got up off the toilet last week Fudger.

Crippa has had more BOGs and played better footy over the last 3 years than Squibby.

So as to your question earlier...
If Cripps is a 'matchwinner', what does that make Daicos?
Nicky is just a worse version of 'matchwinner'. Crippa's currently the best in the business.

Yet, young Sheezel still has Daicos covered at the same age

And round we go
Looking forward to Sheezel getting 16 BOGs from the umpires in 2025 to equal Daicos' 17 in his first three seasons.

I'll even give Sheezel the next two years to do it, because of the age thing you bang on about.

It wasn't me who brought up the Brownlow voting...

Sheezel has rabbit covered in coaches and brownlowv votes at the same age, but you already know that as fact

You do the math.

How many wins has Cripps influenced in his career?

How many wins has Daicos influenced in his career?
Cripps is a loser, 37% win ratio in salary cap era says it all

He tries hard (too hard?) but just can't be the match winner like the game's best player Daics

Is James Jordon a better player than Nick Daicos?

Cripps joined a team that finished 8th in 2013 and won a final, and took 10 years to win another final at the club.

Daicos joined a team that finished 17th in 2021, and were allegedly set for 5 to 10 years of Carlton type mediocrity. But then finished 4th on his first season (playing in a winning final, with narrow losses to the two 2022 Grand Finalists in the other final), and winning a premiership in his second season.
