Just won the doubles today with Diana Snaider. For me it's not close on form, the rest have been shocking this year. Iga has been found out a bit still solid enough but she isn't beating Sabs or Mirra now other than maybe the red clay at the French even then on form I wouldn't be tipping it. Pegula is solid but she never wins, Coco has massive issues she refuses to fix as she's good enough to grind herself to quarters despite serving horrid. Rybakina isn't the same player as she was 2 years ago.
Will Daria be eligible to play for Australia in the Billie Jean Cup? Apprently thier are discussions going on if she can

Unlikely as she’s played for Russia at that level however you are right there are discussions. From what we know it’s mainly for living reasons she’s moved.

All about points now. As good as Sabs is she’s basically defending points from
Wimbledon onwards. Mirra actually had a meh end to last year the only real stack of points she’s defending are the French Semi points. Iga will be lucky to defend the points she has got last year.

Yes but Mirra needs to make ground on the others still. I've got no doubt she'll be number 1 but it won't be in the next two years imo.
Iga will still be good enough to make the semi's in most tournaments. Sabalenka will pick up again post Wimbledon when they hit the hard courts again.

Sabs only has a couple of big tournaments to make points at the rest she won’t play never has.Practically won everything after Wimbledon. No doubt the top 4 ends Sabs/Mirra/Iga then raffle 4th I’ll go Pegula as she’s the less likely to flop a million times. It will be closer in the top 2 than you think. Actually think Mirra wins her first slam this year (I’ll be tipping Wimbledon)

Since the announcement Kasatkina has been speaking closely with fellow ex-Russian and long-time friend Daria Saville, who moved to represent Australia in 2013.
“Dash is talking non-stop,” she said.
“Since I announced, she’s non-stop. On the phone, she called me, then she keeps sending me some stuff like the apartments and the houses around her location (in Melbourne). She’s so excited; I’m scared. Yeah, she is super happy for me.”

Our adopted Aussie was brilliant today cant wait for the AO next year the whole country will be right behind her. She can now live freely how she wants and not be judged anymore she can focus on being a pro tennis player.
