Milera would have to be under pressure after that. Maybe Dawson back or have a look at Edwards?

Crouch too. Subbed out and was largely ineffective. Peatling full time mid and Draper into Peatling's role.

Ruck chopout is a good point. The only active players on our list with a hitout in an AFL game not isolated to the forward line are ROB, Thilthorpe, Burgess, Murray and Borlase. So they will need to bring in Burgess if Thilthorpe is an out, I assume. Unless Curtin or someone could chop out for ROB.

Walker looked slow and tired last night. Probably would have been the ideal game to rest him if Fog was playing. Also I think we need to swap to TT rucking in the forward 50, Tex has lost his ability to win those throw ins like he used to. Got caught quite a few times when taking it out the ruck.

I am sure he could do with a rest but he was just beaten by a good opponent. Looked alright at the end. He just had a poor game against a good side like many others.

The role Tex plays in the forward line now a days is reliant on us winning the midfield and even when we went forward our delivery was poor.

Anyone know how many centre bounces Rankine went to last night?

This contradicts everything I have said in the past but I think we need him up forward. We look slow and not overly dynamic. Then just short bursts in the midfield. Thilthorpe, Fog, ANB, Keys, Rachele, Rankine and Tex rotating through their makes us look much better balanced.

Also I'd put Dawson to defence for a few weeks and drop Milera.

This leaves our midfield very short on big names but fixes two out of three parts of the ground all be it the midfield is the most important.

Then run some of the younger players with Peatling and Soligo through the middle. The game have moved past Crouch.

Just an idea.

Out: Thilthorpe, Draper, Keane
In: FOG, McAndrew, Butts

With Murray injured we don’t have a forward/ruck back up so I’d play McAndrew, tall, can mark and at least kick. Could jab a couple of goals and then actually ruck.

We need Butts on Curnow. Keane panics and makes stupid mistakes. Draper needs a SANFL spell.

Definitely wouldn't drop Keane. Had a poor game but was good the last couple of weeks before that, brings something pretty special when he's playing well and needs to be persisted with. Plus it's not like the alternatives are great.

Assuming no suspensions, I'd look at something like:
Out: Thilthorpe (injured), Draper
In: Fogarty, Dowling

Would also consider Taylor and Crouch as potential outs, though I'd try and give Taylor one more game.
Taylor doesn't do it for me. I was expecting more.:(

Agree Draper needs a SANFL spell.

If Milera is fit, he plays, it’s that simple. How hilarious that we’re playing a hampered Crouch, it’s so us.
