In August last year, Smith was a game away from his 1-year contract extension not being triggered. They selected him.

Fast forward to Round 8 and he's now in the AFL side, a week after doing special comments on 5AA like a lot of half interested, semi-retired players end up doing.

Meanwhile Hugh Bond and Oscar Ryan are stuck in the SANFL despite performing well.

It's also quite funny that Nicks' go to replacement for Crouch is Berry when they aren't even the same sort of player. Berry is a ground level player and puts in defensive efforts, for example

If we were resting Draper why did he play as the sub last week and then played an entire SANFL game after that?

You know Brodie’s probably just as upset about his selection as the fan base given the SANFL team are playing on Sunday he had most likely planned to attend the SA Derby at Morphettville on Saturday but now he has to pretend to be interested in playing football again (like he has for the last 4 years) and has to go out and hit some Carlton players on the chest with some no-look kicks at Adelaide Oval instead of being at the Races.
