He's beaten Voss every single time. It changes nothing.
One of our key issues is when sides apply proper defensive pressure at stoppages.

Geelong in second half and Freo did this.

But, so did GWS. So we can overcome it.

Tonight was free flowing and we dined out on it.

Our defense was immense. Honestly Woz is a one of a kind. I laughed with a mate RTT mustn’t be playing, but he popped up. Not overly influential though. Great relief to see Dawson play that sort of game!

Power are a test?

They're shit.
One thing they are good at is defensive pressure across the ground. With a hard press.

But can't sustain it long, hence the blow outs once they fatigue. Look at today, they dropped off mid way through the second quarter.

We will need to absorb this early in the game, then hit em hard with our key forwards in second half.

Pretty comprehensive, in the end. Was worried we'd missed the chance to bury them with that sloppiness in the early 3rd, but turned out not to matter.

The Wozler a standout, along with Dawson the Forward.

The bad is the fact we'll retain Smith. Also Thilthorpe's hands looked pretty shaky, hopefully no long term consequences from playing through it.

Only time he got the ball within scoring distance he didn't look like he had any interest in actually trying to kick a goal since he was too far out to kick around his body.
He used the term "really fun space" about five times when describing the football club in an interview recently re his return.

Dr Carl says that he'll be gone from the game soon

Good in no particular order:
Milera (!) and Smith (!!!)
Curtin belongs and is being played in the right position. Hopefully gets a rising star nom.
Taylor belongs in the contest and shouldn't be dropped. Reminds me of Soligo 2 years ago.
Worrell (2 votes) in AA form. His best game for the club.
Michalanney also AA form.
Dawson (3 votes and firming as a real Brownlow chance). A complete game all around the ground.
Rankine (1 vote)
Butts - unsung but did the job.
Rachele

Bad:
A solid game from ROB means he's primed to go missing next week.
Nank. I am a huge fan but that was all of his worst habits catching up with him.

Ugly:
What's with all of our fend offs / don't argues? Yuck. Tex especially.

What I am really looking forward to is the Pies at the MCG in two weeks.

Dawson hasn't been effective as a forward option previously but he should be. Great overhead and a good kick, except on those days that he's the worst kick in the competition

Butts essentially made McKay a 100% non factor. There is a lot of value in that for me.
Butts was great. Played his role perfectly and had tidy disposal

SANFL form once again irrelevant

on paper we have a superior team. They have holes all over the field. just the midfield will cause us issues.

Their midfield were smashed today. We gave the Carlton midfield a touch up (Cripps, Walsh, Hewett, Cerra).

We hear this before every showdown, that there's no way we can win against their midfield.

We may win, we may lose. I just don't respect them enough to see this as a 'test'.

There was some stat today that the Power have had 3x 80+ losses in their last 11 games or something.

I am staggered that Butts is not considered in our best 22.

He and Murray should be our defensive pillars.

Keane, fighting with Worrell for that spot, Worrell well in front.

Butts outplayed MacKay all night.
