He had a few rough moments but he went in hard and had good composure when needed

I have no doubt he will have his 300th soon

and give Blitz whatever he wants to get him signed up he was brilliant tonight

I wasn't sure what to expect but he was reasonably good, other than giving the Pies a couple of goals.

That sideways handball to absolutely no-one was a clanger like I've never seen 😳

One of the big thing I noticed tonight was all the over the top physicality from Maynard

He was always a flog in my book, but watching him closely tonight just confirmed it more
Biggest Faux tough guy in the league
Glorified half back flanker without the skills

Danger took that sliding mark and tried to stand up, so Maynard who was also on the ground, held him to stop him playing on. Should have been another 30 m penalty.

King making out like Geelong lead by 10 goals and Collingwood almost pinched it 🙄🙄🙄
So true. Poor plucky underdogs Collingwood, real Shakespearean tragedy vibes right now that they were denied a famous backs to the wall win at their home ground against a depleted side missing three of their first choice back 6.

So heartbreaking that such a romantic sporting story didn't happen. :(

Had to laugh at his sooking after Danger took the mark which lead to his 2nd goal. Wasn't even in the marking contest, held onto Danger, and then whinged to the umpire when Danger went to push him off but lost his balance and Danger's knee ended up on his chest.

Brilliant game, great resolve to win that last quarter and the game.

Loved McRea's presser- honest, complimentary towards CS, Geelong, Danger, Mullin, and no blame or excuses. I continue to have nothing but respect for Collingwood- today did nothing but affirm that.

Always more relaxed when we are outside chances to win, and as many said this week, this IS the sort of game we win. A great start to May.

I do dread it when we no longer have Danger- brilliant matchwinning champion. We thought Selwood was a once a generation player, and he was, but Danger is every bit as influential.

The more I watch it, the more I'm convinced Blitz touched it.

When it was happening I thought I could see a slight deflection but wasn't sure. Now I can see that until it got close to blitz, that ball was absolutely going to hit the post. There's only one way it could possibly miss and that was being touched

Dangerfield requires a statue or something equally momentous in his honour at KP when he hangs them up.

He does. I haven't seen our greats from the 60s (obviously) but he's in the top 5 Geelong players I've ever seen.

It was a measure of where Duncan has declined. There was space out in front that he normally runs 20m and kicks long-he knows he doesn't have the speed to do that anymore. So he tried to get it to a teammates advantage before he got run down he just couldn't get it to Cameron.
But he had some crucial efforts tonight he just can't be b22 in finals because he goes to ground.
