One of the worst performance we've seen over here given the level of both clubs going out.
Not good.

Jack Steele, our captain for what, 5 years? He wouldn’t make the leadership team in any other club in the competition
I just don’t know how we could drop him as captain. How? How can we ask him to step down? It won’t happen. We've really hamstrung ourselves leaving Steele as captain this year.
100% should of just been given the opportunity to see if he could still football in '25

We are a bottom 4 side. We look like Richmond in quality.
Probably similar to Essendon too. They'll play okay every now and then to tempt you back in though. We just aren't ever going to get it together are we.
Yeah let's just play every kid and get pumped by 100 points every week, that should fix the problemA loss like that adds about 150k a year onto his contract. Gonna be paying him & TDK $4 million to help us finish 10th-12th for a couple of years.
Put Steele on ice. Give King the season to sort himself out for 2026. Cheers JWeb but we have to look at the next generation.
Play Barrat & Boxshall & Tauru & Arie. Get Keeler back in. We were actually winning with him in the F50.
Why did we pick up Jack Carroll? Play him and let's see if he's worth keeping.
We know that Collard and Hall are worth persisting with. Can we give them a couple of games off and throw Patrick Said in for a block? Just for shits and giggles.
If Heath isn't ever gonna get a game then chuck Boyd in for a month and see what he can do. Same with Dodson.
If we can trade picks 2 years in advance then I'd look to bring our first rounders forward to this season. All the northern clubs will be trying to get out and I think Essendon might be as well?
Try and hit this draft with 3-4 picks in the top 20.
If Nas leaves see if we can get Butters. If not then I guess it'll be Bergman and a pick.
The Steele/RoMa/Sinc/Wilkie generation is done. They will still get games but it should be in support roles, rather than being expected to carry the team week after week.
Time to hand the squad over to the kids, churn through the list, and let them sink or swim.
Brad Hill out for Hunter Clarke is the easiest lay up available, but the club will make a statement by dropping Travaglia
Because our coach has said it many many times
And anyone delusional enough to think hunter is going to make much of a difference needs to check themselves in to seek the help they needBrad Hill out for Hunter Clarke is the easiest lay up available, but the club will make a statement by dropping Travaglia
have to finish 17th to get pick 3 anyway, west coast will be given pick 2 for Oscar Allen and for crying poor and asking for a priority pick. Best pick we could get is pick 5 after West Coast and Richmond have selected the best four mids in the draft and we are left with the best half back or to bid on an academy playerSaints won’t get pick 3. They will win enough games to finish 11-12th. They will win a few games that don’t matter. Just like last year.
Apparently he's injured again, but he's put up some numbers in the VFL. Needs to come in for an out of form player. And anyone delusional enough to think hunter is going to make much of a difference needs to check themselves in to seek the help they need
Lack of talls on our list is killing us. And not even quality calls, just talls overall.
If 16 hours was normal throughout the competition, it wouldn't be used by Lyon as a pitch to lure outside players to the club lolSo do we know what every club does, or no? All I can find is a typical Cornes clickbait article from 2024 saying we should be forcing our players to do twice as many hours, before admitting he doesn't know what our program consists of outside of the 'contact' hours, and stops agonisingly short of actually providing an example of what 'normal' is. Which you'd think would be an obvious thing to do if the comparison was actually that far off.
I don’t know about you but personally I am grateful to have attended and learnt so much. What a privilege to attend that live...holy ****.
Don't know if decision making or skills was worse
Especially when they're going to replace one of our hardest runners with hunter clark who's issue is his tank. ****ing hilarious. And anyone delusional enough to think hunter is going to make much of a difference needs to check themselves in to seek the help they need

Arrogant team selection. Despite getting killed in the air last week there was seemingly no consideration to bringing in another tall and once again our lack of height was exposed. Flynn and Williams are plodders so today was the perfect opportunity to bring in Boyd or even Heath. McLennan was hardly knocking the door down and just looks a bit lost at this level. And how much longer do we let Collard produce 5-6 possession games without any consequences? Also had zero tackles today so not sure what he brings. I get that he is a still young and learning his craft but has barely touched it all season. Even last week when he doubled up in the VFL he couldn’t get near it. I know recruiting can be a hit and miss but somehow we keep drafting players with either poor skills, no appetite for the contest or low footy IQ. People bag Jones but he has a crack, finds the footy and at least takes the game on. And Box was very stiff to get dropped while others survived.
As Albert Einstein once said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" On the back of that effort I expect to see some changes next week.
You can run as much as you want, but when you shirk every contest and turn the ball over, I'd rather give Clarke a shot in the team. Even if he plays 70% of game time.Especially when they're going to replace one of our hardest runners with hunter clark who's issue is his tank. ****ing hilarious.
