Small, bitter, fascinatingly unimpressive.

Proud effort. Got slapped hard in the opening term, should have been down more at QT. Responded fantastically. In it up to our eyeballs, Cats class kept us at arm’s length, Cotton On ambassadors in green got involved, legs went and they’re too good in junk time.
But ****. 90 point game last year. Expected 60+ at least. So much to take from it. Well done boys, and well done Mini on some very good moves.
Positives
• Allen set the tone as captain. Worked his ass off, got reward on the scoreboard and set up his teammates.
Proud effort.
• Hewett and Harley lifting us in the midfield, really well done. Cats went the Harley tag midway through the third, he’s back.
• Ginbey at KPD. Gave the Coleman medallist an absolute bath. Junktime Jezza went hard when the legs had gone, had genuinely no impact on the result of that game. A huge tick for Reubs.
• Baker, Dewar, Brockman were excellent in their roles, kickstarted a ton of movement.
• Set and forget Jwill forever, thanks. Just a true old school KPF.
• TK had another big tick of a game at half forward
• Cole was very good (got exceedingly lucky on one bad butcher that went not 15). Folks just hate him, was integral to nearly every successful rebound tonight.
• Hough to Bailey midway through the second. Went to him around the 20 touch mark so he still found a bit of it over 2.5 quarters, but had precious little impact and butchered it a good amount. Didnt think it would work but our best periods were when Hough kept him out of it at clearances.
Negatives
• Junktime Jezza ending with five goals. Took an absolute bath from Ginbey, cried to the umps all day, and then finally showing up in the last 10 minutes. Not the result Ginbey deserves to see in the paper tomorrow.
• Flynn copped such a bath early and the Cats should have been home at QT as a result of the midfield work
• Duggan quiet and panicked. The opposite of a captain’s game.
• Didn’t like the pile on on Noah Long in the thread. Missed a very gettable set shot, but the Cats left plenty out there too and we were in it up to our eyeballs against a great side. I get disappointment that we wasted a chance to seriously push for a boilover, but some of it went a fair bit over the line for me.
• Once again blown up in the last quarter. Legs are a real issue when you play such an all guns blazing sprint filled game. Realistically destroyed any chance of a turn up, even if we’d tied it at that 10-15 minute mark
It’s building.
