In: Banch, Archer, Scott
Out: Hansen, Comben, Fisher
B: Archer, Pink, McDonald
HB: Hardeman, Logue, Daniel
C: Stephens, Sheezel, Scott
HF: Simpkin, Darling, Zurhaar
F: Konstanty, Larkey, Curtis
R: Xerri, Davies-Uniacke, Parker
int: McKercher, O’Sullivan, Powell, Banch
sub: Wardlaw
Structurally I’d be looking to capitalise on what we did well in the 4th qtr yesterday. Run, handball chains, a bit more free flowing. Smaller backline here with Archer or McDonald taking Amiss, who is generally a less physical key forward.
Scott comes in to take a wing for a full game rather than bit parts from other players. I prefer Banch over Harvey/Hansen as a small, just due to speed/pressure. Fisher and Hansen come out despite me being indifferent to their performances, could see them staying in (probably not Hansen though)
Wardlaw could be sub, looked to me like he didn’t get enough CBAs to get into the game, but hasn’t been great for 2 weeks. I’d rather have Wardlaw in than not but his form hasn’t been great recently. I’d like to see us running with a thinner mid rotation of Sheezel, LDU, Parker, Simpkin, Powell with Powell only going to the middle post CBA, and maybe a few McKercher minutes in there. Wardlaw comes in to be a wrecking ball as soon as the game is in a state where it is win or lose.
