Showed admirable restraint imo in the face of some of the most ludicrously blinkered umpiring you could ever see.

He spoke to the umps about 5 times at length about being held they just refused to look at what was going on. What are you supposed to do?

Butts was holding him repeatedly before duuring and after marking contests. Which was of course the whole reason Lynch had zero possessions at half time. If you are allowed to hold key forwards at all times then none of them would ever get a kick. It was putrid to watch.

He was defending himself from the crows players assaulting him, wouldn't even get in trouble for that in the real world

Maybe it's our slow movement of the ball. He will burn any defender that is under pressure with the ball coming in quickly. As it is Rankine is working in a congested forward line.

Max - kid can play anywhere. We shouldn't pigeon-hole him as 'just' a defender. I really liked this from Nicks.

Good: pretty good all round.
Thought Milera was pretty good (and I'm usually a hater, so he get's a special mention).
Likewise ROB and Berry who were solid and won their positions.

Meh performances from Laird,

Murphy has no place in a senior AFL side.

Is Tom Lynch going through some personal struggles? He has absolutely lost the plot.

ANB and Cumming have both been disappointing ultimately. ANB has the nous, experience and skill to be doing more.

Really shit call, both of them have lifted the ceiling of the team massively. They are never going to be players who get 30 posessions a week and multiple goals. But they add significant depth to the starting 22.

Getting hard tags week in, week out. Continues to work damn hard and create opportunities for his teammates.
Having said that, his skills, in particular by foot, seem to have dropped off a fair bit.
