ANB has been ok, Cumming largely disappointing. No wonder Crouch kept playing despite injury, he knew what was going to happen. Actually, he saw it on the Suns game he missed.

That was one of our best wins of the season. Melbourne played some seriously good footy and Pickett is a star.

4 points is ours. Super important to just do enough to win that.

Nicks had a very good game in the box, his side were flat, lacked pressure and intensity and adjusted the way we went forward and how we lined up on their players. We locked it down to a contest.

Bad:
Kicking for goal, inside 50 and being outmarked continually. Thilthorpe had a terrible game against Elite defenders.

Ugly:
Literally everything about the game, we lose that last year.

Honestly WTF happened at the start of the 2nd quarter??? That midfield effort + ROB was disgustingly bad, and got lucky they took Max off when they did.

Even after that shemozzle they then went on to dominate but in true style continued to just shoot themselves in the foot to somehow keep the Dees in it and pull off the now patented Crows-leading in the last 5 minutes shitfest.

Happy to get the win though as this match had a smell about it especially in the 1st quarter when it looked like Goodwin was schooling Nicks yet again.

There are worrying signs between kicking it to Broad last week and Lever & May this week that has the smell of the old kick it to Tom Stewart 30 times again.
