For no particular reason:

According to the dictionary, the plural of goose is geese when you are talking about the bird, but if you want to tell two or more people they are silly, you say they are “silly gooses” not “silly geese.” Similarly, you tell two or more people they are “stupid oxes” and not “stupid oxen.”
Liked.
I'm a fan of pedantic.

That we finally have enough talent that half the team can be off and we still find a way to win.
Yeah it is a good sign when we can do that. It is especially good that we won without TT firing a shot. He is so important for us and I've heard many people say we would struggle to win without him. Today he was almost non existent, so positive signs to get the win without him contributing.

Whilst this is true, it would be nice to see us take a risk with a Cook and say "this is your shot, you're in for the season"

Its more likely to be Pedlar but the same applies.
The other option is to keep Rankine up forward for more of the game and then bring Draper in to play more midfield. Or alternatively Dowling.

We look so much more dangerous with Rankine up forward, he should be in there more often, especially with Rachele now out.

Awful performance. We were lucky Melbourne have no forwards outside Pickett.

May and Lever did what they wanted to our key forwards helped by some horrible entries.

Thankfully Rankine kept us in it. Some huge momentum changing moments from Curtin. I thought Dawson lifted in the second half.
No forwards except Pickett? Melksham kicked 4 goals.

Yep absolutely

Its fantastic to have options, whether we use them or not is the question.

Unfortunately I think we already have the answer

If he was on the dead wing, then Curtain didn’t do that well. 9 touches on the side of the ground where the ball supposedly was.
TBH Curtin probably didn't have his best game either, Langdon largely cooked him.

What Dan did do though, when he had a moment .. he took it and made something of it.

Isaac doesn't have that level of talent, not many do.

My comment was saying more about Cumming than it was Curtain.

Even Cumming’s best games have been ok good, not amazing. But Scholl, Nankervis and Jones are the replacement options and the coaches seem to prefer Cumming to either of them.

Isaac is probably one of if not our best field kick, and he's a hard runner.

That is why he keeps his spot.
