Good for a change, 1-2 each summer is a good amount, with our summer having WA as a psuedo 'second one' for the majority. I like a test or two were batsmen have to earn runs. The night session is epic live

Smith took a screamer
No idea but it was bloody good to attend in WAoh yeah lol
So what time did that finish on tv in East?

One each summer or every other summer is more than enough! Not a fan of tests finishing in 2.5 days
He's faced the second most number of balls this innings behind Green, which is a bit of an indictment on our alleged batsmen.Good to see Cummins digging in this innings & not going full T20 mode for the first time in the series
I know that Ian Chappell used to tell Doug Walters to bat the same way, whether it was 4/40 or 4/400. The object was to remove any doubts he may have had about how to play. Maybe Cummins and Carey may have a similar agreement.By the same token, you can't expect the keeper to always come in at 5/300 with "a license to play his shots" either.
Your #7 needs to be able to bat defensively and fight rearguard actions if the situation demands it.
I mean you could cut and paste about 30 Haddin dismissals I reckon, bloke didn't give two shits half the timeThat Carey shocker reminds me of Haddin in South Africa 2011
He's finally starting to look settled in that #3 spot, which is the only positive to take out of the batting performance.Top knock from Green so far.
Opening rounds of the shield going to be so importantHe's finally starting to look settled in that #3 spot, which is the only positive to take out of the batting performance.
The openers are a huge issue and I'm not sure what the solution is. Khawaja is finished, and Konstas is nowhere near ready, but who fills the void? No one is really putting their hand up.
Surprisingly Westy, Aristotle Pickett nowhere to be seen.Fantastic by green great innings in difficult conditions.. great to see he is there tomorrow hopefully cash in when the sun is out
Well done![]()
