Another game no one would want to rewatch, we've had a few of those this season. But we obviously needed the win.

It's annoying that Port fought us most of the way, I think they'll continue to get too for us though. No Rozee, JHF and Rioli helped.

Impey and Ginnivan are continuing their excellent seasons. I wonder how much thy media will cry about his celebration.

Moore had a great game, hopefully that's a sign that he's all the way back.

Dear and Gunston were great.

Ward bounced back with a huge game, after being anonymous the last two weeks.

Newcombe needs some help in the middle when he's getting clamped. He had a stinker.

Sweet gave Meek a bubble bath.

Newk has been tagged pretty much most of the season, he will learn to get through that, just takes time.. wait till Day comes back before we can make any sort of assessment on him. I wouldn’t be resting him anytime soon..

Apparently you can’t touch CMac, I’ve said to for weeks now now, he’s gone absolutely missing for large chunks of games.. has a really nice 10-15 min blocks against the crows, pies and freo but then goes missing.. only issue is who would you replace him with? I stand by a run box hill would be good for him..

Yeah I feel like it’s been a bit of a slow burn for him, but hopefully he’s finally showing us who he is and cementing his place in the side.

No, let him and Day have light games swapping mid and fwd. Give Ward, Nash and Worpel more minutes. I wonder if Finn goes out for Mackenzie or Butler if they have a great game? Not worth tagging Cripps I think and Nash is better suited than Finn for that.

Or Finn just stays in and plays as a pure mid and we see how he goes. If his ball use can improve he'll be a good player but at the moment we can't afford 25 of his disposals so 9 and taking 20 off his opponent is a win.

I don’t think we’ll bother. Cripps is not the player he was last year and he’s not the type of player that Finn would be suited to tagging. Plus even if Cripps were to get off the leash, their forward line is so shambolic is unlikely to cause us any concerns.

Just saw that Wiz had the most sprints for the game (26) as well as the most repeat sprints (5). Also hit the 2nd highest max speed (32km/h). He's an explosive little rocket! Wtf does he have to do to get a free these days though, actually get decapitated and throw his head at the umpire?

1 passage of play he and 2 port players are chasing a loose ball and he just gets tackled to ground with the ball still 5m in front of them and it was play on. WTF?

Had he tagged Serong last week we probably would have won. He either tags oppos most damaging player or he doesn’t play

Playing as an elite tagger is his one wood, pretty simple. Let him clamp down on the callaghans, Holmes, serongs etc in finals. Great overall team effort today, all staring to click I think

Imo this is a step back. Using Finn as a tagger is a necessity right now to make finals but it messes with our structures, when our midfield mix is back and strong we will move away from it again. That's why Sam hasn't been running with it.

That we needed to roll out a tag for a Port Adelaide outfit missing JHF and Rozee is a much more glaring issue.
