Big difference in how long ago those picks were taken. Ours would be younger than the Suns' I'd think.

This is such garbage. We didn't use a top 10 pick on Logue or Stephens. That doesn't suit the narrative though does it.

Its really a misleading stat.

Break it down...

Logue & Stevens - we didn't draft, we picked up for much less than top 10 value

Lmac - he's played 216 games and won a BnF as a pick 8, plus was a F/S

LDU - has been a good pick

Phillips - hasn't worked out, but it was the COVID draft

Sheezel, Wardlaw, McKercher, Duursma & FOS - these 5 picks are too young to be expected to lead a side and most have looked like good picks, anyway

That's the 10.

They never said that. It's showing all the top 10 picks who are currently on AFL lists, regardless of who first drafted them.

Same goes for all the other clubs. All those top 10 picks from GWS and GC who are now on other lists.

Looks like it. Jury out on Vozzo, but Rosa looks to have had an okay start at *, so perhaps it was more Brady at fault for the West Coast list.

Probably a bit of everything. LDU was a good pick. Logue and LMac average.
It depends on the draft year as well. Stephens, Powell and Phillips was the covid draft. Looks a poor one in hindsight.
If we had Pickett or Serong then things probably look way better.
Too early to judge McKercher, Sheezel, Wardlaw, Duursma and FOS.

For me that highlights our recruiting at late ND, rookie or MSD picks has been poor.
That's why I don't really buy into this thinking that another high end pick would get us out of this mess.
Time to find some role players and elite players outside the first round like a competent recruiting team should do.
Max Holmes and Freijah were 20's and 40's picks, so no reason you can't find them and develop them later.

Or 50% of the 10 are in their 3rd, 2nd or 1st year......

A proper high end pick could be traded for a better player. Pick 21 gets you Griffen Logue pick 3 might tempt clubs to trade someone better
