Excuse my ignorance but how does that work?

Why can McGuane play?
If you are under 20 and involved in the coates league, you can play as the 23rd man. We have had many others play. Zane Cochrane and Ollie Warton last year.
Generally happens post champs

I wonder what the reason behind Frampton playing VFL is (if this eventuates)
IS it managing his minutes and beign cautious due to the 5 week lay off?
As Deans form doesn't warrant keeping Frampton out you would think.

I don't mind Dean getting exposure to another game in the AFL & keeping Frampton's return to seniors until next week.

Yeah, no hurry on Frampton against the Tigers hampered tall forward stocks
I Agree, if this is the case I hope Frampton's VFL minutes are limited for match fitness, rather than playing a full game on those grounds

Very likely we could have 12 -13 (one carryover of course) for VFL depending how many they hold over
Jordy, Demattia, Parker, Frampton, Fin, Steene, Hill, Cochran, Hayes, Johnson, Howes plus possibly three of Cox, Markov, Sullivan, WHE, Allan, Steele.
Add in Mcguane too.
