I'm playing degoey next week. He's blown out the cobwebs and no reason he can't play forward/mid. I don't really care what kappa thinks. Everyone is entitled to their opinions

If he pulls up well and hit his speed markers tonight then he definitely plays seniors. They haven’t eased him into it and I’d suggest his numbers are more a reflection of the system than JDG.

On the teams performance I know it’s easy to get bogged down in losing to a standalone VFL side, but they’re decent at the level and a quarter of our side had never played with the group before. I think anyone expecting the W and for the ins to dominate was more than a little naive.

I actually enjoy the fact that Frankston has a less than stellar reputation. I live in Langwarrin and routinely park my car at Frankston train station when attending games. Over the past 20+ years, I'm happy to say that my car has never been stolen or broken into (yet). I understand why Frankston has a bad name, but it has certainly improved in recent years. Let's give Frankston a fair go. It's still a little seedy but not as bad as it used to be. Lol

Nothing more than accelerating their ability to give repeat effort and then recover.
Numbers etc are completely pointless.

Didn’t really play much in the first half, was more on ball late in the last quarter didn’t really doing anything notable, kicked a a right place right time goal on the goal line but that’s it.

I think we need to be objective with McGuane. Remove the last name.

Now, if his name was Jordan smith for example. What would we think of his game tonight? Or his recent metro games?

I’m only highlighting this because there’s been previous comparisons to gulden. Think we need to severely temper expectations with him.

Agree Jen and then you also have JDG and Frampton who realistically are only there to get minutes in the legs.
