Stronger team than last week. We’ll miss Jy’s physicality, Dawson was out to sea last week so not surprising that he’s been left out, Logue was just as bad, but Dawson is still finding his way so they probably want to protect him a bit.

Larks back is massive, and Gorgeous back is more than handy, and on form Cooper deserves to hold his spot.

I hate shitting on young players but Wil lost a one on one marking contest with Brad Close last week and looks to have about a half of footy in him before he blows up. He looks tired. I’d prefer we stick Logue out there to get embarrassed and battered than continue to push Dawson.

Just would've like to have seen at least one of Powell, Daniel or Logue dropped as a bit of a statement.
Disappointed that it's Will and Finbar that have been omitted.

He's a huge part of our future. He needs games pumped into him at the highest level.

I get dropping a kid if we're coming into a final series. That ain't us. If we want to arrest this shitshow limply going with the status quo is the dumbest of all dumb approaches.

The decision wreaks of preferential treatment gifted to players who have clearly been given commitments to switch Clubs.

Yep you are right about that. 11/23 are under 22 years. Very young team. Even younger if Payne and Wawson were in.

Oh cool so Payne was clearly a waste of a ****ing selection in the mid season draft. Can’t get a game ahead of Konstanty who is limited at best ALL year?

It’s not that I think Payne will necessarily be a player either, but it just shows the massive disconnect between our drafting & our coaching. Surely whoever we drafted in the MSD has to be close to getting a game as is, before they enter AFL level training & coaching, considering where we are at.

But no, instead it’s just shit after shit pick. And we never get to see whether these types are “play up” types

It also sends a message that you don’t have to be in tip top shape to be selected. Away with skin folds, away with gut running efforts, just pick the most out of shape lazy defender for “eXpeRieNcE” and call it a day.
