I would have said that is the most corrupt umpiring I have seen, however, corruption implies competence. That non high call for Jye against Alir, I mean…really? Anyway we won, am just not sure how we did it
We only have one good one touch centre clearance mid - Serong. Brayshaw is an amazing player, but it’s end to end workrate not clearances that’s his gig.
I’m quite confident that Johnson and Erasmus will evolve into centre square mids in time. I’m also super confident that JOM is rubbish.

The rucks need to get their hands dirty. Sweet has half the talent of either of them and took them to the cleaners through effort
Imagine how shocked I was when I saw we were +18 in clearances and +9 in centre clearances. Did not feel like that.
Meh, pretty sure it was 15 when I looked on the replay.
Honestly, based on the 50 arc and the angles, more like 20m

Huge shout out to Jackson here who was repeatedly pushed off and dominated by a newbie and squashed a few charges of momentum by some very weak efforts in the ruck.
Had some bloody good efforts around the ground mind you but literally conceeded a few goals by his efforts in thr ruck.

Don't get me started on the commentators acting like we were no chance of making finals if we lost this game. **** me.
Credit to Erasmus I thought he scrapped hard all night and did some nice things.
We really need to be moving beyond Banfield and probably NOD too. They are just costing us too many cheap goals and brain fades. They do some nice things too at times but those type of players get exposed in the finals every year. JOM had a poor game too and his handballs at times were just not at the level required.
However the biggest concern for the coaches will be what to do with Bolton. He’s just a selfish player. I’m not sure how you manage a guy like this. We clearly need his talent and ability on the field, but his attitude is not at the level right now. If feels like we have 22 guys out there buying into the team mentality then there is this one guy doing whatever he likes whether it’s to the benefit of the team or not. It VERY nearly cost us tonight. Have seen it before in plenty of other sports even - that kind of shit wears very thin, very fast, with the other players.

What a ripper game to be at tonight at AO. Freo crowd really up and about tonight, wonderful to be around.
Never lost hope at all, don’t know how we keeping pulling these wins out of our arses being down at 3QT, you could tell that Freo played so much more confidently that last quarter
