Friday night, against the reigning premiers who haven’t even been that good, club legend announcing his retirement during the week, game sold out and that’s the best we can do? like 8 straight behinds to start the game and some of the dumbest plays I’ve seen from players that should know better (Treacy playing on in the goal square for no reason and getting tackled resulting in a miss)

just awful game from start to finish, absolutely just making up the numbers if we sneak through to finals

J-lo and the team owe an apology for that insipid, comical performance. And if J-lo had an self-respect or self awareness he would fall on his sword. He is masquerading as a coach and wasting generational talent.

And while I'm at it. Bolton cost us two first rounders. Doesn't matter if the trade facilitated Reid's drafting or not. He is a waste of cap space, he is player who looks good when teams play well, otherwise he he is a talentless hack.

Without a doubt this is pure dockery bullshit. Every time we are in this position it's the same old story, and having unsuccessful pricks like any player in our football department from the Drum to the Harveyr era are not going to provide us with a winning culture because they've never known it.

Another strong build up another example of this club not being able to handle pressure.

Learn the lessons and move on. Brisbane picked us apart, took away our game and we had no answer.

Part of this is on the players, part is on the coaching. Another example of being comprehensively outplayed.

It's a weird one though. What might have been had we kicked straight and has scoreboard pressure. Brisbane were able to play their way because they had the lead.

I'll put this down to inexperience and an overly emotional week. We must however remove the weakest links and learn the lessons going into next week. It's not done yet.

This team is probably still 12-24 months away.

We have ridden our luck for a while it was eventually going to bite us on the arse.

Unfortunately WA teams cant win from outside the 4 so you can out the red felt pen through us for this year.

But we need to win next week. And ensure we get some finals experience. I actually think we will get to week 2 no matter where we end up its just getting there now.

A loss next week we would be 0/6 in games to lock in a finals spot across the past 2 years if we dont win next week.

That stat is inexcusable

So slow to react in the coaches box. Clearly the Lions came with a plan to chip it around and hold possession. We stood in our zones and allowed it to happen for way too long.
Players were not holding up their end of the bargain either. Terrible kicking display, no run from behind to receive and open up the game.
It was a fumbly, bumbly clown show.

Pearce shouldn’t captain beyond this season. As soon as he was flustered and missed a kick then fumbled to give Brisbane their first, you just knew.

Have to agree, he really set the tone for a poor night in the first few minutes.

You deserved so much better from your teammates and your coach than the garbage they trotted out tonight.

Besides the game, it was disappointing to see so many fans leave before seeing off Fyfe. The man put his heart, soul, loyalty and wrecked his body for the club. As difficult as it was to witness, props to everybody that stayed!
