We would need GWS and Hawthorn to lose 1 each (most likely scenario)
Basically we have the worst percentage so need 3 of the top 9 to finish on 60 points or below (Bulldogs already can’t get more than 60)
EDIT: Either Brisbane or Hawthorn will also be below 64 as they play each other. assuming we win next week, basically the only way we miss a home final is if GWS and GC both finish on 64 which would mean GWS win this game and they both win their remaining games.

So no home final for us. Could we have fcuked up any worse?
I actually don't think we'll make the finals looking at the ladder and the fixture. Every team will be on at least 60 next week after the Dogs beat us and we have the worst percentage by miles.

Essentially if we beat the dogs, but all other games go according to odds, we finish 7th.
The only so so game there is hawks Brisbane. If hawks beat Brisbane we finish 8.
Weird things may happen but unlikely. So no home final - Nat played his last game last night in WA.
Yeah, but I reckon it’s a reflection of the fixture/ draw as well.
Imagine if we had double ups against Melbourne, North, Richmond, Gold Coast ?
But to be honest, probably wouldn’t have mattered as we have lost too many games that we ‘should’ have won….

it’s likely been mentioned earlier, but what the actual **** was the “walk the ball down the other end of the ground to give Brissy a freebie kick at goal” for??? I mean ****s sake how often do those get paid. Would they ever be paid against big Vic?? No.

If nothing else this year, we should all sit back and applaud the club for achieving potentially most Dockery season of all time. It will be a work of art to lose the last 2 games of the year to miss finals while having enough wins to finish at least 5th in every other season of AFL in history all the while beating more top 9 sides than bottom 9.
The club has a mantra and a creed and by gosh we will live up to that this year.

After the Brissy debacle, it’s now an easy equation - We win, we are in. Lose, and we miss out and odds are we wouldn’t have done much in the finals anyway. It’s the same for the dogs.
Next week is effectively the first elimination final anyway as it stands.
Wouldn’t write us off just yet though - we are every chance of winning.
