I think we are in good form, and injuries hurting Brisbane a bit.
We are a 70 percent chance to win.
As long as we handle the start i think we will be fine.
Get the crowd up early with a good start makes it harder for the Lions.

For reference Squiggle seems to be varying between 50-60% in our favour.
It feels about right, slightly in our favour at home but still pretty close to a 50/50 overall.

That’s not how I read the room, to me it feels like most people think we should beat the lions on Friday but if we don’t it could cost us a finals berth as the Dogs at Marvel are a tougher assignment.

For some reason, this results swapping reminds me of the lineal title someone talked about a few years ago. This year it’s gone Brisbane -> Collingwood -> Geelong -> GWS -> Dockers -> Sydney -> GWS - > Bulldogs. So the team may be a chance to take it back in round 23. Yokayi!

Yeah those games earlier in the season don’t mean much. On recent form things are different.

This is a badly wounded lion a long way from home.
This is our least difficult remaining game for 2025.
If we can't bag this one then we are in for a very tough season's end.

We're playing one of the worst backlines in the league next week. As King came up with, they play half court basketball and that's why the dogs rate so poorly against the best sides.
We will be energised from a long break and give it a red hot crack next week. Could still end up with a home final if we win.

Whatever combination of results gets us a home elimination final if we win next week, that’s what I want from here.
If we win next week and results went to plan, we could play hawks in Perth in an elimination final.
As for losing next week and scraping in to play an away elim final?
Well, basically next weeks game is already an away elimination final. So if we can’t beat the Dogs away, we aren’t beating any of the others

GWS losing today and us winning next week gets us a home final.
Dogs wont over take us neither will GWS.
Hawks or Brissy will be leapfrogged as well as one will have to lose next week.
I sort of always had us coming 5th or 6th on the ladder predictor as I suspected we would lose 1 game in our last 2.
I just thought we would best Brisbane and lose the dogs.
Looks like we have no choice next week but to win now.
We had a shocker time to refocus and get back on track.
Its still salvageable
I said last night I feel if we make it we probably get to week 2 anyway at a minimum possibly even a prelim depending on the side of the draw we have. Hardest part mentally is qualifying.
If GWS lose today as I just said above we could be either 6th or 9th depending on the result against the Bulldogs.
Home final or no finals
