Soligo just cannot have that type of game in a final. Was decent when he got it, but had little to no influence both around the ground, and at clearance

Same with Curtin. 7 touches off a wing in a final won’t cut it

Thankfully guys like Peatling, Berry, Keays picked up the slack

Midfield not too much of a concern. It's been letting the opposition get big numbers most weeks but that's our gameplan and we win anyway

With the week we’ve had, today was another example of previous Crows sides would lose this (West Coast in 2016 the week after bananagate for example).

North were always going to look at finishing their season on a high, and pushed us all the way.

We got the win, and with that:

• The minor premiership
• Our best minor round record ever (18-5)
• The biggest rise up the ladder in a season (15th to 1st)

Now for a week off to put the hot mess of the past week behind us before a massive September (with the likes of Max and Rachele returning)

To add to these stats:

• We went 11-0 in home games this season (and 12-1 at Adelaide Oval)
• We only lost 1 game in Melbourne this season (against Collingwood)
• 9 game winning streak going into finals

I knew we were up against it when in the space of 30 seconds, NM kicked it 10m or less for two marks. Then the same umpire in the very next play called play on for a kick that went further than the previous two.

Good: Thought Fog had some nice moments, Dowling is clearly better than Murphy, Filthy is a beast, Pealing had some nice moments.

Looking forward to welcoming back MM and JR - immediately makes as a better side.

No injuries leading into the break is a sexy cherry on top!

Rash is confident, will need to see him in full training this week I reckon otherwise will be in for the semi/prelim

Berry had a much better 2nd half and finally tightened up on his direct opponent but that first half still was a worry, loose marking at stoppage and double grabbing everything. His bad habits just started to rear their head a little in the past few weeks.

But take Berry’s goods with his bads over what Soligo brought today, seemed allergic to getting a clearance for long periods of time.

it was shown once in passing on foxtel, the kangaroos player wasn't injured and at a glance it didn't look high.

Given how desperate they were to back in the kangaroos during the game I assume the commentators would've focussed on it more if it looked dubious after they lost.

3 goals directly from umpire shit decisions and it would have been 4 had Curtis kicked that goal from the BS insufficient free and all in the last 10 minutes when we were already 5 goals up, don't tell me that isn't suspicious and it's all part of game.
