Not really. We would have got that and more without making a single trade.

It's a fair point, but you can't say for certain we get Mattlock with the Daniel pick as Tigers might have picked him at 27.
But we would have gotten one of Jacklock/Shanahan with the Daniel pick given they were past 30.

Forgot Saints got stiffed on McKenzie. Up there with Dees missing Andrew in the three drafts between Dogs getting Jamarra in '20 and Dons getting Kako in '24. What a shit show this league is.

I'd like to know a little more about what our Tassie academy was doing around that time. What amount of involvement did we even have with Sanders? The club has been pretty opaque about the NGA academies and it's a bit telling that apart from Sanders no other prospect has come close to being drafted lately.

THe pick we traded from Richmond was originally one of the PPs we traded during 2023. WE traded it to the GC.

They traded it to Richmond and we gave Richmond pick 3 to get it back.

Bit passed his best but would bring good premiership experience. Would one our both of our three second rounders get it done?

Same with the CCJ trade. Forced the F2 trade for Brayden instead of just using the R2. Even worse than the Daniel trade.

If WC get pick 2 for Allen and we can get pick 7 off GC, maybe we can use Duursma (and Phillips/RHJ and whatever) to jump from pick 7 to pick 2. If WC are looking at a WA guy like Schubert, after taking Willem Duursma.
