Accepting nothing is worse. When are we planning on making a stand or are we just all about being Mr Nice guys. Do you see Geelong being nice at the trade table these days? Now Mackie is a campaigner but somewhere between the two would be nice

I don't think it would get that far. If Pies value him as they have indicated, by obviously selling him a Best 23 spot, then they'll want to get the deal done.

If they don't it might indicate to him that maybe they don't value him more than us.

Adelaide/GWS did with Jackson Hately, Crows had pick 1 in the PSD that year though so wasn't any risk.

If they don't it might indicate to him that maybe they don't value him more than us.

That can definitely be a factor. However, I am sure Buller understands how trades work, and clubs will always try and get something for as little as possible.
