Yes, but left me with the same emptiness when North beat the eagles earlier this year.
I suppose in seasons past they would have lost this sort of game 9 times out of 10. So that is a positive.

That Eagles game has a claim to being one of the more surreal games in recent memory.

NMFC home game played in a WA town with pop up stands. Announcer somewhat amusingly trying to hype up the outnumbered North fans pre-game. Festive atmosphere at the onset, promptly destroyed by the most skill-devoid (in perfect conditions) first half in the AFL since one of our several shitfests against St Kilda.

Weagles carry on their merry way in a way that they very much had not been able to do to that point, then something shifts when non-descript Weagles plodder #38204 misses a soda, and a North comeback suddenly becomes inevitable. No one leaves the game that happy. We're a bit pissed off, the other mob are quite pissed off.

Then I spent the night in the hire car in a dam carpark just outside of Margaret River. Come to think of it, that was probably the most surreal moment of the lot

1) How on earth did the Dogs yet again fail to land a key defender
2) Why would Melbourne want Steele and Viney in the same midfield?
3) What is going on with Geelong delisting Retschko and then trading him to Richmond?

They probably coughed up less draft collateral and got more out of the bugle than we got outa polec

Regardless that was historic, the win in this trading period for footscray was being able to dump 900k of cap space without not only having to pick up some of the wage but not even needing to send a pick along as a dump. Infact they got a pick....

For me it’s up there with our last win against * in 2016 as the worst wins I’ve ever seen.
