Farrow and Ludowyke for me. Hopefully both available at our selections.

We think alikeFarrow and Ludowyke for me. Hopefully both available at our selections.
Watching the highlights for Marsh he has a lot of similarities to Jeremy Cameron with his running ability and booming left foot. On the lead he looks unstoppable!
Has speed and a huge endurance base – he finished eighth in the 2km time trial running it in 6:21 minutes. There is no way he is around at our second pick

Robey looks like a good, versatile prospect here:
Good size, strong mark and tackle, versatile mid/fwd, athletic and probably still growing at 192cm already.
I can see the appeal tbh.
Not sure how he measures up against his peers.
Josh Lindsay… he’d have to be under consideration. Looks the exact same type of player as Amon. To be honest Karl would be pretty happy with some of these kicks. Absolutely elite.

Maybe watch the video?Outside of his elite kicking can he do much else well? Because without I'd like another few players predicted in his draft range. Honest question as I haven't seen him play but keep hearing about his kicking ability and nothing else. His kick sounds exceptional, but is that's all he's got?
I think with Reeves it's a classic case of people fixating on a young guys weaknesses and somewhat forgetting about their strengths.Exactly, the defensive application, aggressiveness and awareness can be worked on at the AFL level.
The positive traits - forward versatility, kicking skill level for a contested midfielder, size and strength are all great. The pace may continue to be an issue that gets exposed at AFL level though.

191cm is a great size for a midfielder, combine that with his kicking skills and I am imagining a potential Patrick Cripps clone with better disposal.
What really strikes me is his build though (he's a powerfully built lad), I can see this guy developing into an absolute monster after a couple of pre seasons in the gym.
Agree Cumming would be a great pick. But doubt he’s available at pick 10.Totally agree he’s a good prospect, but give me Sam Cumming ahead of him every day of the week, and twice on draft night!
Marsh. Natural Gunston replacement.Agreed, he won't last until our second pick. If Farrow's gone at 10 I wouldn't be overly disappointed that we took him there
Depends on who was taken with our 1st selection but am leaning towards Marsh as we need a developing forward that can come through with Dear. Looking at his Dad's height he probably has some more growth in him too. A year of learning from Gunston wouldn't hurt too. You're on the clock with pick 22, Harley Barker, Ollie Greeves, Mitch Marsh & Latrelle Pickett all available who are you taking & why?
As if he can’t play midfield. Between Cumming and Lindsay at ten for me. Cumming maybe first because he plays forward and has way better opportunity for funny
Maybe watch th
Marsh will be long gone by then unfortunately. Greeves was Marsh level medium forw at the u16s and showed some of that in the Eastern finals series, he isn't as natural as a midfielder, but has developed some versatility to his game, I think if you view him as only a mid, he is around pick 20, if you view him as a medium forw who can play mid he's closer to pick 10 from my pov...Also, I'm torn on Greeves. Speaking to someone I highly respect reckons he is a strong AFL level pre season or two away from ripping it. His defensive side can be worked on in a elite environment, especially Hawthorn under Sam. At 191, with still a bit of puppy fat around the hips , he's found it hard to run all games out but that frame and growth for a 18 year old can be detrimental early on. Still though , I have 3/4 others ahead of him at our first pick. Btw, this info wasn't from a Hawthorn person.
I have not liked Farrow much, in 1 game Metro kicked 10 points and he had 16 touches at half time, 10 from kickins, his kicking isnt as good as people have claimed, looks like more a maybe pick up than first rounder i wonder which nuffie got the media stuck on him?, Ludowyke has issues kicking at goal which has turned me off him so 2 players i wouldn't draft imo.Farrow and Ludowyke for me. very sobering Davo. I was all in on Farrow or Cumming based on nothing but others' views.I have not liked Farrow much, in 1 game Metro kicked 10 points and he had 16 touches at half time, 10 from kickins, his kicking isnt as good as people have claimed, looks like more a maybe pick up than first rounder i wonder which nuffie got the media stuck on him?, Ludowyke has issues kicking at goal which has turned me off him so 2 players i wouldn't draft imo.
Well, there you go, what do we know from just watching video clips. You cannot see them across each game, across whole year. Everyone has been on Sharp/Farrow/Cumming for our first and perhaps a small forward or developing tall forward for our second. From the videos for Sharp/Farrow/Cumming, I can see different strengths, Sharp is a great link up player, high footy iq, Farrow seems to have the bulk to shrug off tacklers, Cumming is slightly quicker than sharp, farrow looks the slowest out of the three, but cumming body shape is skinnier, then sharp and then farrow, but none of the video clips had them doing the extracting out of middle, if that is what we need with loss of worpel, I do not know who is best, well , someone else. I can see why people think Greaves can do similar job to worpel, just watched a bit of his video, he does do some centre square in and under work, got caught a few times, slower than the others,I have not liked Farrow much, in 1 game Metro kicked 10 points and he had 16 touches at half time, 10 from kickins, his kicking isnt as good as people have claimed, looks like more a maybe pick up than first rounder i wonder which nuffie got the media stuck on him?, Ludowyke has issues kicking at goal which has turned me off him so 2 players i wouldn't draft imo.
Cumming body shape looks alittle like day, hope he is not injury prone, I cannot see him doing the heavy lifting though, then is sharp and farrow looks to have the most bulk, that is if people not like greaves for being too slow. There are a few small forwards like dovaston or picket, which we may get at our second pick selection. I know people are getting quite keen on Marsh too, there are some knocks on him for being inconsistent, if that is not true and he has the motor, accuracy and midfield numbers as Gunston does, I would be keen, especially if can come on more quick, in a year or two, having said that, someone else said Nairn is more close to Gunston, so I would not mind that either with our second, if Donvaston/Picket, say a good small forward is off the table or we prioritise Gunston replacement.very sobering Davo. Maybe I'll go Cummings as best vids review I have seen at around 10 and hope Dovaston slides to 22.
