Hearing some pub whispers that NFNL looking into Preston City Oval for finals activity again. Thoughts?

Also, IF that happens would love to see the Div 3 and Div 2 GF's played there. Maybe the success of women's finals at Eltham creates some ability to maximise crowds at ALL finals games?

GF 45 points, remove Betts and players drop 8 points and they are on 32. Not to mention Carter 4 points hasn’t signed.

No points issues at this stage.

They will always play close to the limit, no juniors and get a lot of players from other leagues, being in div 2 will help a bit

It just has to. Epping did nothing wrong running the day but it’s just not a great venue for finals footy.

Cramer street has a fantastic atmosphere.

I agree all GFs should be there with lead up games maybe shared between suitable venues and spread out

NP suitable.....I hope this is a typo. May have a grandstand which is awesome, but the parking is terrible and the gluepot in the middle would/could make for a very depressing experience.

Saw vafa finals there this year, middle was fine just a bit soft, I feel like they had to improve it as AFL listed players were getting injured playing there vs VFL Preston all the time

The rooms are old school, heaps of old northern knights stuff around, the red carpet, It is a old school footy ground and is great to watch from.

Coburg has it covered though, parking, surface, rooms, all better

You have me confused with footyhead45. I was just hopeful they would field 2 teams and not get blown away every week.
Now not so confident, might take a walk and have a beer next week and see what shows for preseason training
