Club needs to legitimately leverage and pile on the pressure whilst they are emerging as a women’s powerhouse.

With the multi billion dollar station built a stones throw away, the residential build to rents flowing into the pipeline around the ground, there should be absolutely zero excuse for not making Arden St the equivalent to Moorabbin or the Whitten Oval in terms of a women’s football micro stadium.

A covered grandstand of some description should be the goal with an upcoming state election this year.

How can the best football program in the women’s game be playing on the most under developed home ground from an amenities perspective?

I noticed Schleicher gave the club a bit of a drive by on the facilities in the coverage during the presentations last night.

She’s not entirely wrong either.

Absolutely agree, new Grandstand for HardOn St is a must, particularly with new Arden Station opening today.

Saw on Facebook that there’s a campaign to get some NMFC artwork at the new station, might be a good place for the club to start it’s lobbying from:

Would love to know which AFL NMFC players were at the GF. I would have assumed virtually all - surely it was a major club event. Anyone know?

I reckon it was just Sheez, Konstanty and Clarkson. Agree with North Lad, get serious men’s program.

I get the whole one club thing I really do.

However with the consistent disappointment the men provide I’m not sure why anyone could give a shit about whether they were there or not.

They should direct their fire hose about 80 KMs South near the border for the for a club in the men’s competition. This club has had more handouts and assistance than Ukraine has had in the past 2 years.

They have to meet club event and sponsor requirements in their playing contract.

I would have thought the club would have made it an enforced requirement under these conditions.

We probably all know which ones attended and which ones didn’t to be honest

Yeah, I’m not listening to supporters of a men’s team that was able to get Neale, Cameron, Dunkley, Doedee, and get Allen and Draper after going back to back and be able to grab both Ashcrofts for next to nothing.

The AFL announced about a month ago that the 2026 will start around the same time as this season, so if we play our first game on August 16 (same as this year) it will be 989 days since our last loss.

Ordered the merch, ordered the beer, dressed for hours ready to head to our native land. Watched some of the game over but will watch it all with my wife over a quiet drink this evening. It’s always been a delight following our women’s team but last year and this year are next level.

It’s funny because of the potato farming they do, and the crowd - especially kids and parents - goes off. One of the most fun parts of the game for me.
