Israel has to one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

I can't believe they have so much power over the US.

We've seen what Israel has done to Zidane. Donald Trump didn't stand a chance.

The reason Israel is so corrupt is because they can and get away with it in the international community. The minute someone dares criticise them they play the victim card from world war 2.

Pertinent point here also:

I think if you examined all countries around the world, and I mean all, duty to convenience, most if not all military intelligence centres are likely even located in civilian buildings even on just a few guarded floors. Why? well how often are you at war and two workers can just travel into the city by public transport. I just think its a big story about nothing tbh. Yes the USA has the pentagon, but congress and the whitehouse itself are surrounded by a combination of government and civilian buildings including apartment buildings. So its a little silly to just have an expectation for one and not the other.

I've skimmed the politics board there a couple times. Makes the conspiracy/US politics thread look almost tame by comparison. Why are so many Adelaide supporters rwnjs?

there are three main players and then there are some hidden gems that pop in when the narrative is easy. But yeah its embarrassing. Especially when they triple down on their wrongness

According to one poster here, proximity of buildings can be considered a war crime.

Ammo dump / storage / cache next to school is a step too far.

Despite all of the other examples cited in this thread I see none where a school is placed next to ammo storage.

What's the next step - start placing SAMS next to hospitals & schools?

Talking about gay guys, Lindsey Graham, the veteran Republican senator who has been pushing for war against Iran for decades, has issued a dire warning to the Iranian government, saying it was worth spending money to “take this regime down”.

“When this regime goes down, we are going to have a new Middle East, and we are going [to] make a tonne of money,” Graham, a longtime proponent of US military intervention abroad, told Fox News on Sunday.

A reminder that the Iranian people aren't the mullah dictatorship:

They are the biggest losers out of the whole conflict and must be looked after.

As neighbours, the UAE have recognized the reality of the slaughter of the people of Gaza and care about their wellbeing.
Thoughts and prayers from the UAE for Gaza and Iran and for Greater Israel.
But don't ****ing take our land.

I disagree. Israel isnt corrupt. It's normal behaviour.
It's not normal behaviour - it's normalised behaviour, where the normalised behaviour is the social or psychological process where abnormal, deviant, or previously unacceptable behaviours/ideas become accepted, routine, or "normal" over time.

Yes. That's true. When I left the post, I was thinking that israeli attitudes and actions aren't normal for a well balanced individual, but it seems that most of israeli society have embraced it. I saw norman finkelstein explain it by a number of things....the chosen people thing, the post WW2 "embarassment" for being treated by the germans as they were, the determination that it would never happen again to them. It was a great interview and gave a real insight into jewish attitudes but I lost where it was located and cant find it again. A bit of a shame.

Strangely, I can see reasons for their insanity, although I cant do the same for christian zionists.

Perhaps you just discovered a blind spot?

donald trump has instructed albo to take the iranian soccer players as refugees. Trump says that the US will let them in....and then after the applause will probably ship them off to a central american prison

If true to form…. It will take Albo a good while to calculate the political implications for him, before making a decision way too late.

Iran sells 92% of its oil to China so is heavily exposed if they pivot elsewhere.

It's in deep shit if it can't get that supply chain going.

They are more exposed than anyone.
Oil doesnt work like other supply chains, it's very pliable. Its just tankers coming out of the Persian gulf. China can buy saudi oil instead of Iranian and that puts the price of ours up, which we get from singapore mostly. Singapore buys from the same gulf tankers.

China's goes up to, but guess which customers that will be passed on to.

The US has already taken sanctions off Russian oil, so allowing Russia to get money for their Ukraine invasion. Maybe thats why Putin has barely responded, trump promised to lift sanctions.

Trump and Israel keep saying they won't accept any leader chosen by Iran. So peace is nowhere in sight.

Oil has punched through doubling since January and shows no sign of stopping. Consensus predictions is for $150 per barrel if it lasts another week. It's up 11% for the day on Monday. The Gulf states are stopping production because their storages are full. That means the high prices will last.

Heating Oil has more than tripled.

Petrol here will hit $3 within a week if the war is still going.

Remember when Pam Bondi said the Dow was at 50,000? It's down 6% since then to in the 46's.

It's the 70's oil shock all over again except so much of Asia and the world is reliant on ME oil.

If you think this could all end in days and Trump just walks away having devastated the country and expect inflation not to happen, you're kidding yourself. You think there won't be hardliners internally fighting moderates, plus the Israeli/US interference and blood-letting? The only way there's no blood-letting is if the IRGC remains in charge. And it's in their interests to attack other ME oil production and distribution.

Just because China was getting cheap oil from Iran, now they'll be buying from what's left of ME supply. China won't be the only ones to suffer. The global economy is about to get rocked.

And there's still no explanation as to why?!

I would have to agree, I can't see this ending anything soon. Iran aren't going to start talking whilst they are getting hit with bombs.

However, with there oil infrastructure getting hit it may start the thinking to find a way to end this.

Again However with Trump saying he won't accept a leader he hasn't approved off will be a sticking point. I can't see Iran's allies accepting an US approved leader either.

And then after all of that, Brent Crude and WTI is back under $90 per barrell.

No idea how this is going to go, and I wonder if Trump has any idea either. Which is a bigger concern.
