However this doesn't really substantiate the claims of the original tweet that i responded to, that suggested that white house staff were leaking that Trump is regretting his decision as it didn't give him the approval rating.

Have you not been paying attention to his media appearances? It's pretty obvious he's feeling the pinch already.

I had a little look at Fox News coverage of the war. I looked through the first 100 articles under the war tag. Not a single one was critical of Trump, there was criticism of a few folks who have jumped ship over the war but non of the war. There were talking heads bagging NATO for not helping clear the straits. None of the morons mentioned that it was Israel and the US who started the war without consultation, that it's not NATO's role as a defensive organisation or that he's asking the same allies he bullied, slaps with tariffs, and even threatens to invade.

Most importantly they fail to mention what an incredible high risk mission this would be - ships confined in a narrow straight, moving slowly, with one side occupied by Iran with thousands of missiles and drones to fire at them. How long are ships magazines going to last in that environment?

Slight aside, I noticed Fox had a menu at the top, one of options is labelled "US". The sub menus are "Blue City Crime", "Campus Radicals", "Border Crisis" and "True Crime". I hoped the last option would feature the members of the Trump crime family, sadly it did not.

Mojtaba Khamenei hasn't been seen or sighted despite being appointed as the new Ayatollah. Some reports have him fleeing to Moscow - the preferred destination of human rights abusing genocidal war criminals removed from power.

It's pretty obvious Orange Mussolini believes he's committed a massive mistake. You can read it in his tweets which are unhinged to say the least but throwing a tantrum that other western powers aren't interested in sending military assets to the gulf then saying "we" dont need them is telling.

I actually don't believe he cares that much about approval ratings, he just does whatever comes to mind without thinking about it.
