I’m saying the core problem isn’t changed by slashing jobs or being frugal. They’ll never slash or be frugal where they need to be, because where bloating occurs is often where the powerful and protected are. So we will trim bits and pieces here and there where it seems to be something but not really dents anything.

They’ll never be true accountability because those with little ability to account for anything are the ones to cop the sword and those that have power will just pivot.

No government has had the balls to look into the operations of each department and ask:

Why are we doing this?
What is it really achieving?
