Damn my StK finals prediction's not looking good. Their midfield's just not good enough, smashed in clearances 44-27 by the wooden spooners.

Lions clearly the better team for 3qtrs but ran out of legs a player down for the whole game. Would probably have won if Rich didn't go down early.

Seemed to run out of legs at the end of each quarter. Would like to see the scoring for either side in the final 5 minutes of each quarter

I think theres a little confusion with the Lions as to when to play on. Put ourselves under so much unnecessary pressure.

Love the team work though, just would like them to run harder and switch more. Saints switched like a premiership side today, they play Etihad better than any other side imo.

Brisbane have two rising star winners in their team (though one of them just got injured) but neither have really come on since their rising star wins. Both had very good first seasons, but neither really improved much from that point.

You probably can't tell from this game but Taylor has improved out of sight under Fagan - will be a gun. Rich has also improved since being moved to the back line
