We were shit

Any Essendon fan who doesn't have concerns heading into the season must have rocks in their heads

WCE John Worsfold coached sides always performed like shit in preseason

I wouldn't worry too much if i was Essendon

Not bad from dahlhaus

Love Dahl, and he seems really happy. Just the sort of player we need, and your club should be proud that it fostered an environment that produced such a hardworking individual :) The Joel Corey and Steven King link always makes me have a soft spot for your club too

I was concerned Geelong and Essendon were going to be 2 of the teams Adelaide would be fighting for a finals spot with...... Not anymore after tonight’s effort!

This is going to be easy. Geelong are a team full of grandpas - we are the young, virile bucks who are about to take over the herd and have our way with the sheilas. Get that up ya.

Essendon by 40, sending a warning to the rest of the competition that we are the true premiership threat in 2019.
Lol......

Cats will play finals. They’ll win enough games at home and are good enough to win a few more elsewhere to be well entrenched in the 8

Not sure if you're just being sarcastic and taking the piss here, but there is no reason to be concerned at all with team results in preseason games. They don't mean anything, they never have, people only try and take something out of it because they are desperate for footy.

Coaches are only putting the magnets on the board, testing some new players, positions, structures, getting some miles into the legs and hoping for no injuries.

Bombers should be pretty handy this year.

Get money on ESS winning the spoon. You know it’s gonna happen. If not spoon at least bottom 4. But please bet responsibly.

Cats were better last night, but it's all still adjustment time with the new rules. The real teething problems will occur when they are playing for points! As for the Cats performance , our ruck strength is a worry and i can see Grundy and Gawn taking us apart in the first two rounds? The positives are they may actually debut up to three new players come round one and I can see Constable, Clark and Atkins all being selected. Cats also look so much better in the predominently Navy Blue hoops and shorts home strip. Geelong should never wear "white" shorts in home games!
