Much as I'm enjoying a significant amount of schadenfraude at Essendon*'s expense after yesterday's shellacking, it's a bit silly to write them off after Round 1.

They're still a finals contender (cos the competition is just so fracking ordinary), just not the top four side their enablers in the media were rabbiting on about.
