I might be wrong but It sounds like JJ has been told some home truths by the coach/coaches, but I reckon he still plays this week on his absolute last chance to extract the digit. I suspect there will be several others that have also had the blowtorch treatment but might not be as lucky as JJ and will find themselves running around in the SANFL this week.

Do we truly want a Forward Line that will kick a winning Score Or do we only want to Dump player we don't Like.

Why are we calling for mass changes in the Forward Line,
When we should be looking at the ball movement
Fogarty and Himmelberg will not help our forward line, But most would be happy,
Dumping JJ and not replacing him with a Half Decent tall who can Ruck a little would be giving GC free goals from the centre,
Jarod Witts is 208cm, there supporting Ruck is Peter Wright 203cm, We can take advantage of Wright but only if our supporting ruck is half decent. And JJ, Hunter are the only player fit enough to compete and beat Wright. Himmelberg, Otten, Hartigan will leak Goals from the Centre if they were Rucking more so under the 6-6-6 rules,
Yes they may change him but hopefully it for someone in Form that deserves a spot and will not leak goals, I don't see that player.
Lets not pluck players out of the air just because of it easy to Blame JJ.
Fix our contested possession our Ball movement, our ball inside 50, let's not kick the ball to GC inside 50 let's not blaze the ball into a 2 on 1 with no smalls to clean up.

We could have Franklin in our side and he would struggle at this time with the crap ball movement.

The problem is quite obviously the game plan, which isnt really the players fault because what they're be asked to do is clearly not working, what's sad is thats exactly when you need the leaders to stand up and just say hey lets just keep it simple, and move the ball quickly play man on man for 5 minutes see how we go.

There is absolutely no change coming from the coaches box on game day if things turn sour all Don says is Back the game plan in.
How frustrating it would be to be a player when you know the game plan sucks and isn't working, that you collectively can play so much better than this.

I can not think of any justifiable reason to have Jenkins play this weekend. Not one. I've been trying to think of something, any skerrick. Nothing. He is offering absolutely nothing.

ergo, he'll kick 6 against the Suns on the weekend.

Fogarty will not replace either of those 2 as we are too tall now.

If Fogarty comes in, it will be to replace Lynch or Jenkins.

We need to go much Miller and quicker with a forward line looking something like this

FF: Stengle - Walker - Betts
HF: Gallucci - Fogerty - McHenry

4 smalls and 2 talls


Lynch and Jenkins either need to be dropped or reinvent their role in the team but the days of having 4 tall forwards are over.

Have a feeling it might be one of those eerie atmosphere’s we sometimes get if GC stay in the game for 2-3 quarters.

I think we’ll win, but unless we blow them out early, which I don’t think we will, can see the natives being very restless if we end up in a battle.

3-4 goal win will do nothing to win the crowd back - only the most ardent apricot slicers will be fooled
