I would take Riley Onley, Jesse Meillor, Matt Le Ray, Harley Barker, Marcus K all before him and some of those blokes will be available

Dalton isnt getting much love for many bar your good self mate, does he find his feet at VDFL level (via the rookie draft) for a year?

Clubs understand small forwards are extremely important in the current AFL metagame and it isn't easy to get great ones. That outlook hasn't reached the media yet because there's a lack of analysts in the media.

This leads to media ranking generic mids higher than outstanding small forwards. Whereas in clubland its the other way around

How do you know that’s not where some clubs have seen him for months. Kozzi Pickett was only seen as a 20+ selection until close to the draft, yet recruiters had him top 10 worthy all along
