On exposed form in the VFL when he returned from injury, he was pretty ordinary.
Iām not writing him off, but the hype about him from some on here is way over the top IMO.

Dont think it matters for the top four of that list. It was probably clearing the deadwood out, with alot of them just used to losing and there for the paycheque.

lol thatās not what I said. I said he doesnāt look like he has improved his conditioning ( off other photos as well). I was hoping he came back in ripping shape and either trimmed down a little or gained some muscle mass. He hasnāt appeared to have done either. He does need a rocket up him if he hasnāt been putting in hard work1 photo of him standing there and apparently he's lazy and needs "a rocket" (I swear "a rocket" is the solution to every possible problem according to some fans).
He looks almost identical to Bews and Bowes in those photos. To me he actually looks much bigger around the shoulders than he has in previous years. He stood up in tackles way better at the back end of last year than previously. If he keeps taking steps forward like that he'll be a good long-term player.

His "pensive" look has improved 200%.This was him less than 2 years ago. He still has a kid's body (unsurprising given they probably didn't want him stacking on weight after his foot issues in his first year):
