Apparently taken an unofficial leadership role within the younger group, vocal, leading, doing the right things. Can see him firmly cementing himself in the best 23 in 2026.
Think hes already best 23 no worries tbh

He needs to be knocked off his spot now by guys like Nguyen, Zak Johno types

nguyen plays an entirely different position on the ground

He would have played from round 1 if he didn’t ding the shoulder in pre season, he probably burns out a little earlier but he is well and truly entrenched as far as I am concerned

And the game he won he kicked 3 and was the rounds rising star
he should’ve probably done that more often, maybe he would’ve won some more games?

Wasn’t it one of his first games he played after an interrupted preseason? To be fair it was against Richmond and pretty hard to expect a first year player to be winning you some games when half the team was out injured.

Very excited by Clarke. He has the size and endurance that our side has been lacking over the years. What will be his set position next season? He had to play down back when we got injuries but assume the wing will be his main spot?

Was a defender(HB) as a junior. The Redman 2.0 comp was very apt.
obviously had some good performances as a wing and his elite running lends itself to that spot.

Will likely depend on how the mix works with Farrow and Johnson and whoever else is available.

More opportunity on the wing for now with Marto but i think long term hes a genuine half back and will get to a level where hes better there and not lost on some stale wings at times

Otherwise i think he sits alongside
Mcgrath - Mckay - Reid
Redman - Ridley - A.Roberts (A.Clarke) as in our best back 7 for now

But i think with a guy like Farrow and Nguyen will likely be shifted out to a wing for the short term
