frustrating, sad. not the end of the world yet, though i cant help but feel we could have done better.

for me alarm bells were ringing after the one he did last preseason. george and the club were speaking as if it were some freak occurrence, when the video showed it was literally just him picking the ball up at speed, an ordinary football movement he should be doing 30 times a game.

i really hope we have done all we can. there was never any talk about special solutions to his problems. always just talk about how he needs more preseasons, more kms in the legs.

this running laps stuff is no reason for optimism either. same thing last time or similar.

What a genuine disaster. So disappointing for George and ultimately the club, another high end pick MISS, this time due to injury.

Will never be the player we all hoped he could be, body just can’t handle AFL and anyone saying otherwise is kidding themselves.

Into his 3rd season now and can’t get through a pre season and when plays only is on the field for 65-70% of the gametime and everyone is holding there breath waiting for the inevitable injury.
Its a precautionary measure to protect his hammy. He didn't die!!!

Gawd!!!

I was there.

Saw him come off - thought it was just a rotation.

Then couldn’t find him anywhere for 20mins. Saw him emerge from the rooms in runners and run laps for at least 30 minutes.

My money is on awareness and they are scanning as a precaution. I can’t see why you’d check out the hammy, with his history, and then send him out to run BEFORE you’d got the results of the scan.

Anyway, hope I’m right 🤞

Another hammy issue

Another reminder to only give a short term deal

Yeah I'll be honest, I just have this increasingly horrible feeling in my gut that injuries are going to plague him for his whole career.

There's some chance he doesn't hit the 50 game milestone this season. I don't want this guy turning into the Anthony Davis of the AFL. It's turning into more of a when does he gets injured next rather than if.
